Goal is to double program in two years

“This marks a significant expansion of the Project H.O.M.E. initiative,” says Trustee David Lenoir. “Since the kick-off in 2011 we’ve educated more than 1,500 homeowners about debt management, credit building and spending plans. We want to double that in the next two years.”

This workshop is open to ANY delinquent taxpayer (2013 and prior) that would like payment plan arrangements for their County AND City property taxes.

Other confirmed workshop dates with First Tennessee are Sept. 18, Oct. 9, Nov. 13 and Dec. 11. All weekday Project H.O.M.E. workshops are from 6-8 p.m. and are held at City of Memphis community centers, unless otherwise noted. Topics will include general budgeting and credit basics.
