VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY: Community Alliance for the Homeless has a short-term volunteer opportunity available for someone who is willing to assist with a few office tasks. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

MIFA seeks volunteers for December 19

MIFA needs 8-10 volunteers on Saturday, December 19th, to help pack shelf-stable Meals on Wheels at our office at 910 Vance Ave.  The packing project is scheduled for 9:30 a.m.noon, and volunteers are welcome to come for all or part of that time.

Black Girls CODE, Memphis is thrilled to host their mobile app workshop using MIT’s AppInventor!

No prior programming experience is required and all BGC workshops are geared toward introducing participants to the technological universe and encouraging them to pursue careers as tech creators and entrepreneurs. This event is intended for girls ages 7-17.
