NOTE: If you are interested in becoming a patient on the Christian Mobile Dental Clinic, you cannot have dental insurance, you must live in the zip code(s) of the host church, and you must provide photo I.D. or proof of residence at your appointment or you cannot be seen. Bellevue Baptist is not responsible for making the dental appointments, they are made by the host church.

To make an appointment call the number listed with the particular church listed in your zip code. You are able to be treated on the dental clinic up to two times per calendar year.

City University teams up with Mid-South Food Bank!
“We are bringing over 30,000 pounds of food to heavily affected areas in Memphis. Today, we distributed at City University in Whitehaven. Tomorrow, we will be at Orange Mound Community Center at 2 o’clock. We will then take it to Frayser and distribute at the Ed Rice Community Center at 2 o’clock on Thursday.
All clients will need a government issued ID and a MLGW bill with the matching name or address of their ID.  If you know anyone in need, send them our way!”

The Family Safety Center Needs You!

The Family Safety Center is one location that effectively combines civil, criminal, health and social services for victims of family violence.

By co-locating the services of our 31 partner agencies in one location, Family Safety Center is able to better serve the hurting families of Memphis and Shelby County who are caught up in the trauma of domestic violence. We provide assistance to the victims and help them navigate through the many services available to them. Ultimately, we strive to reduce incidents of domestic violence and strengthen families in Memphis and Shelby County.

 

Due to our increase in clients receiving Emergency Housing services, we are in immediate need of the following items:

 

  • Pots and pans
  • Dishes
  • Utensils
  • Can openers
  • Gently used/clean/and or new Bedding
  • New Towels
  • Pillows
  • Can openers (manual or electric)

Choose901 Spring Popup Shop

 April 12, 2016 – Choose901 will host a Spring Popup Shop on April 22nd and 23rd at Visible Music College, located at 200 Madison Avenue. Proud locals can shop more than 33 different Memphis-themed t-shirt designs and get a hold of new items such as totes, dry-fit athletic wear, onesies and more. The inventory will also feature a variation on an old classic, the Choose901 tri-star tank.   

 Local vendors and artists will also make an appearance at the popup. The Reverb Coffee Truck and Pink Diva Cupcakery will be on site for your mid-day to late-afternoon pick-me-up. Additional vendors will be announced soon.

The River Community Services Agency Inc. presents a new workforce development program C.L.I.M.B. (Creating Lifetime Independence Moving Barriers) Initiative. The mission of C.L.I.M.B. is to alleviate suffering, poverty, and oppression by helping people build secure, productive, and just communities by promoting career and economic growth.

As part of the River’s new commitment to assist local residents in obtaining employment, the River is pleased to announce a series of in-person workshops beginning Tuesday February 23, 2016 at 10 AM in the O.D. Family Life Center at 3560 S. Third Street, Memphis, TN 38109.

Our workshops will focus on preparing job seekers for the current workforce. Participants will receive detailed materials about the topics presented and hands-on practice sessions with members of the community.

Topics include:

  • Résumé and Cover Letter Development
  • Interview Skills
  • Job Search Strategies
  • Dressing for Success on an Interview

We also sponsor and provide:

  • One-on-One Career Counseling
  • Resume Assistance
  • Spiritual Counseling
  • Job fairs, including Industry-Specific Fairs

We just want to let you know that Trinity is here for anyone in need.  God put it upon our hearts to let the people know.  If there is someone out there who need help with food, clothing or even shelter if we have available space, please contact us at our office at (901) 786-1220 or (901) 729-7180.

We also have reserved beds available for men and women on probation with no income.  Food and clothing is available now for anyone, including working people as well.
