Camp begins at 12:00 noon. 

Parents are welcome to stay.
Applications are online and at Metro PCS in the Oak Court Mall.

Regardless of which Tiger you are rooting for TSU or JSU, come join the ladies of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. and the men of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. at the Southern Heritage Classic Tailgate on Saturday, September 12, 2015.  Food will be served from 11:30AM4:30PM.  Pay onsite $15 for the tailgate & purchase $20 game tickets. You can wear your paraphernalia or your ME PHI ME gear as you stroll at the TAILGATE AFTER PARTY at the tent.

Need a safe place to park? Look no further…here is your opportunity to support a magnificent high school and enjoy tailgating, the game, and other festivities. As a fundraising effort, Middle College High School is parking cars at the school (Historic Fairview Bldg.) AND at the Shelby County Schools Board of Education, at 2597 Avery, on Saturday, 9/13. Past parking fundraising efforts have funded new athletic uniforms, college tours, a and classroom/library essentials. Parking starts at 9:00 am at both the school and the Board of Education for a low, low fee of $10.00 per vehicle. No ins and outs. Tell your family, friends, neighbors…tell everyone you know to tell everyone they know that is attending the Southern Heritage Classic to support the school by parking @ Middle College HS or the Board of Education! Please share!

Scholarship Opportunity for Football Scholar Athlete
On May 7th, the Memphis Chapter of the National Football Foundation and College Hall of Fame will recognize eleven high school scholar athletes from the surrounding Memphis area.  The scholar athletes will be presented with a monetary scholarship in front of their family, friends and coaches at our prestigious awards dinner.

Please help us continue this tradition by nominating a candidate to represent your school.  Once you have made your selection, please complete the online nomination form found at the following link: https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/nffmemphisnominationform

For your convenience, attached is a flyer to generate interest with your scholar athletes as well as a copy of the nomination form to gather a candidate’s information.  The form can also be submitted through fax at the following number.  901-271-3482

Please note that candidates must be graduating seniors, active participants on the football team and they must possess positive leadership and citizenship characteristics.  ACT scores under 18 cannot be accepted and the overall scholastic grade point average should be based on an un-weighted 4.0 grading scale.  All nomination forms are due by Friday, March 16th and if you do not have a candidate this year, we would appreciate a confirmation to ensure your school is accounted for each year.
