Field Operations

Field Operations acquires and cultivates volunteers and donors through grassroots fundraising events to support the life-saving mission of St. Jude. Thirteen regions conduct thousands of events each year, including radio-thons, Dream Home campaigns, galas, pin-up promotions, college fundraisers, golf tournaments, and fitness programs. In collaboration with the other development divisions, Field Operations empowers fundraising ambassadors in communities across the country. Departments in Field Operations include the following: Radio Marketing, Dream Home Marketing, National Program Marketing, Operations & Budget, and regional offices throughout the country and Puerto Rico.

RISE Foundation offers financial literacy classes to people to teach them to save and build assets. This person will be responsible for the sale of Common Cents classes to Memphis area businesses targeted at their hourly wage employees.

Part-time Employment for High School Students

Mid-South Gospel Connection is the premier directory for faith based events throughout Tennessee, Mississippi and Arkansas.  We are now hiring high school students.  We are seeking 50 students, age 18 or older to become Independent Advertising Representatives for our organization.  All students must be legally eligible to work in theUnited Statesand possess a valid, state issued identification card or driver’s license.   Besides sharp minds and outgoing personalities, MSGC requests your referral of high school students who are computer literate, have daily access to a computer with internet access (daily visits to public library is acceptable), and are willing to successfully complete all online training.

All interested high school students must attend the MSGC Independent Ad Rep Job Fair.  The Job Fair will be held on Monday, December 26, 2011 at 2 PM, sharp.  Parents are encouraged to attend.  Due to limited seating, no one under the age of 18 will be admitted.  

Each student MUST bring a photo copy of their identification card or driver’s license to the job fair.

Administrative Staff Supervisor w/BlueCross BlueShield of TN

This position is located in Memphis, TN.

This position is accountable to provide support for all sales and service functions of a regional marketing office, often assuming some of the duties of an Account Manager when workload and time demands require it. This position ensures follow up to inquires; ensuring that commitments to communicate to subscribers and providers are met. This position provides a first contact response to subscribers and providers to provide information and service. This position is also responsible for managing clerical workflow of the office, supervising and directing the work of all clerical and temporary positions and providing PC training to other office personnel.

Key Functions:

· This position is responsible for providing support for all sales and service functions performed by the office, including direct support to the Regional Sales Director, often assuming a lead role in multiple special projects.

· Performs a variety of functions associated with general office management.

· Works closely with Sales Executives in the preparation of proposals and with rate calculation and proposal preparation in the absence of the Account Manager.

· The incumbent performs and/or oversees the production of a variety of reports and materials that are presented to customers and prospects including presentations and enrollment packets.

· Assists group administrators, subscribers and prospects in the absence of Account Managers to maintain high quality/timely service, providing a “first contact” response to questions or concerns.

· Liaison to other departments in the home office to resolve service, billing, GISI and eligibility problems. This position supervises and trains other clerical support positions as assigned and provides PC training to office staff.

Qualifications

To be considered for this position, the incumbent must posses the personal maturity and skill to perform a wide variety of tasks in a stressful fast pace environment. The incumbent must posses excellent verbal and written communication skills; PC competency in Microsoft office software; high school diploma; two years experience coordinating or supervising clerical support and/or customer service functions.
