Full-time professional management position with health and leave benefits. Supervision of day to day operations of the clinic and surgery center. Clinic compliance with state and federal regulations. Development of operational capabilities for new services lines. Monitoring and reporting programs such as QA, OSHA, Infection control, etc. Development and implementation of staff training and development.

Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required: RN, BSN strongly preferred, BLS, current TN RN License, at least three years of clinical or ASTC management experience, energetic, and compassionate.

Medical Laboratory Technician

This is a part-time, hourly position with leave benefits. Under general direction and according to established policies and procedures, the Medical Laboratory Technician performs diagnostic testing in chemistry, hematology, and immune-hematology. Assists Lab Supervisor in providing maintenance and quality control. May act as general supervisor under CLIA 88 definitions.

Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required: A two-year associate’s degree in Medical Technology, or certificate from a hospital, vocational or technical school, or two years laboratory experience. Manual dexterity and visual acuity to manipulate test requisitions, samples, and reagents. Based on the OSHA guidelines for protection against occupational exposure to hepatitis B virus (HBV) and human immunodeficiency virus (HlV), this position includes tasks that involve exposure to blood, body fluids and tissues.

Provides operational support for the operating unit in the areas of practice management and revenue cycle functions in the hospital inpatient setting. Designs and tracks effective processes for charge capture of patient services for all providers. Works with hospital staff to implement processes for data collection and transmission related to registration, billing and documentation. Develops and tracks internal controls related to charge capture process, coding and documentation. Designs and implements effective approaches to increase revenue capture. Gives feedback to providers on charge processes.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES, EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

• Bachelors Degree in related field preferred or 6 or more years progressive work experience in a medical environment

• 3 5 years of supervisory experience in a medical or ambulatory care setting

• Coding or clinical experience required

• Experience in work process redesign

• Strong analytical and data acquisition skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Extensive knowledge of medical billing processes and appropriate documentation

• Strong interpersonal relations skills

• Proficient in the use of computer spreadsheets and word processing software applications

Provides positive customer interface, obtains, and enters in computer all information needed for patients seen in the Clinic, to ensure accurate billing. This is a part-time position no benefits, located at our Germantown facility.
Responsibilities:
Greets visitors and patients to determine their needs, scans insurance cards, and verifies and updates insurance information and demographics. Checks insurance eligibility. Determines and reviews financial responsibilities and insurance coverage with patients. Collects copays, coinsurances or other balances owed on accounts. Performs other related tasks as requested.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Experience in a physician’s office preferred. Must be computer literate. Demonstrated typing abilities preferred. Must be able to work at other practice locations if necessary.
