Open Position: Transportation Coordinator for New Hotline
 
The Memphis Crisis Center (MCC) is looking for a team player with their own transportation to manage a new transportation hotline. The position is a one year contract for a pilot program to better connect seniors and disabled citizens to transportation choices. Welcomed are those looking to re-enter the workforce.
 
Tasks are to include, but are not limited to the following:
•Obtain client information by answering telephone calls, interviewing clients and verifying information
•Determine eligibility by comparing client information to requirements
•Inform clients by explaining procedures, answering questions and providing information
•Offer direct assistance, support and assistance to callers by informing them of ride options and other pertinent information
•Handle instances when caller may need additional support in scheduling a ride
•Data collection of all calls and follow up activities
•Complaint resolution/trouble shooting
•Follow up with callers as directed by leadership team
•Evaluation and continuous improvement as defined by data
•Attendance at team meetings as requested
 
Training: Training on process, protocols and all software will be provided by the Memphis Crisis Center.
 
Minimum Qualifications:
•High School diploma
•Knowledge of Computer operations to include the use of email and web browser
•Able to interface with a diverse population of callers
•Able to interface and problem solve with callers, MCC team members and other agency partners
•Ability to prioritize tasks
•Time management skills
•Ability to follow direction
•Be open to changes and new tasks as determined by leadership team

LOCAL and FREE : 2019 ACT Prep Session #Memphis

Open slots for 200 students for all youths in the surrounding areas which includes Arkansas and Mississippi.  Please be sure to fill out the attached registration form.

2019 Saturdays “Prep for Success Workshops” at Melrose High School located 2870 Deadrick Avenue. Each student will have an opportunity to review the four (4) basic content areas that are covered on the test. They will build their test taking skills and they will participate in a “mock” test under strict test conditions. Answers will be scored and given to the student so they may assess their strengths and weakness prior to taking the official ACT test. Please note: the first official 2019 ACT test will be Saturday, February 9, 2019.

Grades 9-12.  These three (3) sessions are free and comes with a free continental breakfast and lunch which will be served to participating students at each session.
