Junior League of Memphis 2015-2016 Voluntarism Scholarship Award


The Junior League of Memphis is pleased to announce that we are seeking qualified applicants to compete for our first annual Scholarship Awards for the 2015-2016 academic year. Up to $10,000 will be awarded to deserving female students who are striving to purse a degree at a local 4-year college. Applicants must exhibit leadership qualities and have a strong volunteer history.

Attached are procedures, eligibility requirements and the application for this scholarship. I would appreciate it if you would please forward this on to those who may be eligible for this scholarship and also to your contacts (school counselors, parents, local churches, etc.). Jan. 30, 2015: Applications due (including recommendation letters and transcripts)

Feb. 22, 2015: Finalists selected and notified

Feb. 23 – March 9, 2015: JLM members vote

March 31, 2015: Winners announced via mail or email

April 2015: Winners announced to JLM Membership
