Position: PT Teller

Location: Memphis, TN Area

Southern Security Federal Credit Union has immediate opportunities available to join our dynamic team in the role of Part Time Teller.  The successful candidate will operate a Teller station accurately and in a timely manner while enthusiastically promoting SSFCU’s image and products. As a Part Time Teller for Southern Security, FCU, you will work with a professional team who are committed to excellence in providing superior customer service and building positive business relationships with our members.

Job Responsibilities: You will work directly with the members to ensure complete customer satisfaction through superior service. Additionally, the Part Time Teller will have direct responsibility for:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

 Operating a teller station in compliance with all credit union regulations

 Providing superior client service by smiling, greeting & using the client’s name during transactions

 Answering the phone in a professional and timely manner

 Demonstrating a good working knowledge of SSFCU’s products and services

 Promoting the SSFCU’s image, products, and services

Required experience and qualifications include:

 High school diploma or equivalent required

 Minimum five years Teller experience

 Basic computer skills

 Basic knowledge of banking products and services required

 Proven customer service skills

 Cash handling experience

 Excellent verbal and written communication skills

 Ability to develop positive relationships and work in a team

 This position does require flexibility in work hours and locations

Position: Receptionist

Location: Collierville, TN

Job Responsibilities:  Serves visitors by greeting, welcoming, and directing them appropriately; notifies company personnel of visitor arrival; maintains security and telecommunications system.

Essential Job Duties:

 Welcomes visitors by greeting them, in person or on the telephone; answering or referring inquiries.

 Directs visitors by maintaining employee and department directories; giving instructions.

 Maintains security by following procedures; monitoring logbook; issuing visitor badges.

 Maintains telecommunication system by following manufacturer’s instructions for house phone and console operation.

 Maintains safe and clean reception area by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.

 Maintains continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.

 Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Skills and Qualifications:

Telephone Skills, Verbal Communication, Microsoft Office Skills, Listening, Professionalism, Customer Focus, Organization, Informing Others, Handles Pressure, Phone Skills, Supply Management, previous work experience in Banking / Credit Union is a plus.

Education:

High School diploma or GED
