GRIZZLIES TO HOLD ANNUAL INFIE 500 DIAPER DERBY
ON SUNDAY, FEB. 8 VS. ATLANTA HAWKS
Memphis, Tenn. – The Memphis Grizzlies are inviting families with the fastest babies in the Mid-South to participate in the mother of all baby races, the Annual Grizzlies Infie 500 Diaper Derby at halftime against the Atlanta Hawks on Sunday, Feb. 8.
To enter a baby in the most exciting speed-crawling competition in all of sports, family members are asked to submit an online entry in 50 words or less on why their baby should be selected and will be judged based on the creativity of their entry on grizzlies.com. Entries will be accepted starting on Monday, Jan. 12. Babies must be between 6-12 months to participate, and all submissions must be received by Thursday, Jan. 22 at Noon to be considered. Babies who can walk are not eligible.
Finalists will be selected and notified on Friday, Jan. 23 and receive four Terrace Level tickets to the Feb. 8 game against the Atlanta Hawks. Finalists are required to attend a photo shoot to be held at FedExForum Tuesday, Jan. 27.
On Feb. 8, one deserving baby will crawl away with the grand prize of two courtside seats to a future Grizzlies game, a $500 gift card to Ashley Furniture Home Store, a coveted golden bottle trophy and the title of Infie 500 Diaper Derby Champion. All qualifying babies will receive a Grizzlies gift pack including tickets to the game and prizes from the Grizzlies and Malco Theaters.
